The original Henri Lloyd, Henri Strzelecki was a soldier in the Polish Army. Settling in Manchester at the end of the Second World War, Strzelecki or ”Mr Henri” as he became known, studied textiles and design before working with local clothing companies in Manchester.
Henri-Lloyd’s reputation as a premium lifestyle brand was born in the 1980’s when the über cool Milanese youth movement known as the “Paninari” adopted the Henri-Lloyd Consort jacket as part of their uniform. A collaboration with inspirational Italian designer Olmes Carretti followed and so Henri Lloyd’s reputation and credentials in the world of fashion was established.
As one of Britain's most loved fashion labels, ever since its conception, Henri Lloyd has successfully merged rich sailing heritage with the requirements of cutting edge menswear styling, creating an inspired range of luxury clothing. The company's products are a perfect blend of style, colour, design and fashion. Henri Lloyd has earned a name for itself, exquisitely designed to set you apart from the crowd.
